Oh the places we go!

When you believe in the soverignty of a mighty God, who created the universe and all things in it- its hard to believe in people being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or the right place at the wrong time, etc etc.  So I dont.

When we were on our honeymoon I got false charged by a mountain goat for trying to get a picture of its baby… three weeks later we found out that a man got charged to death by a mountain goat.  We also were sleeping in bear country 3/4 of the time.  A week after we left yellowstone, a grizzly mulled someone to death while they were asleep in their tent, others were severely injured.  I’m not gonna lie I was extremely thankful I wasnt there those times, and my heart went out to those who were and their families.

We have brothers in places right now where “natural disasters” have devasted or are headed in route to.

Specifically, Costa Rica and Japan.  Both of those places are locations that these men went with the intention of spreading the gospel.  No doubt they have, and will still.

Please pray for their protection, perfect peace of mind for all, and the Spirit to use them in a powerful way to those suffering.

  1. Amen. The mission field is where you are, where ever you are NOW–not one day, in a country far away, today, here, now.

    May God receive glory, today.
