Judah Emmaus Tack.

Jonathan and Charisma Tack are the honored parents of Judah.  They are friends of ours that we met through Aletheia.  Over the past year we have had the pleasure of getting to know these two God-fearing and loving individuals.  We learn a lot from them.  Last month Charisma was put on bed rest for a dilated cervix.  One day I got to go keep her company while we ate, talked baby & marriage, and spent most of the day in the kitchen (don’t worry she was sitting in the glider that I pretty much banged up trying to move in there).

The Lord saw it fit to bring their sweet little creation into the world at 1lb 14oz on 10/8/10.  We call that preemie.  We call it early.  Some might even say too early.

But, God’s timing is always perfect.  Do you hear me? Perfect.  Because HE IS PERFECT.

No matter what happens.  As believers, He works all things for the good of those who love Him.  Romans 8:28.  Do you know what is good in His eyes?  That we be conformed to His image.  No matter what happens. That we glorify Him.  No matter what happens.  That we remain faithful.  No matter what happens.

Jonathan and Charisma are rock solid in their faith and standing on their rock (Christ) during this roller coaster of a time.  They are seeing God in a whole new way.  Marveling at all the miracles they are seeing, and that includes their little baby!  Who is doing very, very well!  Dont take it just from me, to read about their journey from them, visit their blog.

See things don’t always go as planned.  In fact, often times most things don’t.  But we can trust and rest assured that the Lord knows what He is doing.  Proverbs 3:5 & 6.

As my bible study leader said on Sunday night, “we are a long way from Eden”.  For those that don’t know what that means, simply put, God created everything to be perfect, to be in perfect union with Him.  However, everything was affected by sin, by the fall of the first man, Adam.  That includes even “natural” things that God ordained, like pregnancy and childbirth.

We’re a long way from Eden, and Judah has a long couple months of growing, strengthening, and maturing before He can go home with Jonathan and Charisma.

We as humans have a long way of growing, strengthening, and maturing to do before Christ comes to take us home.  You see we weren’t made for this world.  We were made for something greater.   We were made for Him.

Please pray for this sweet family and their little boy Judah Emmaus, while things are going well, they do have a long road ahead of them.
